Praying for our People
Louise Friesen's Memorial Service will be Saturday, February 25, at 11am in the Fellowship Hall.
Please pray for the family of LaVada Brandt who passed away Friday, February 17th. Her memorial service will be Friday, March 3rd, at 11am in our Sanctuary.
Also pray for the family of Loree Jost who passed away Friday, February 17th. Her memorial service is being planned for the end of March.
Ray and Bonnie O'Neil would appreciate your prayers as Ray recovers from Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery. DBS has been effective in people who have Parkinson's. Pray for Bonnie as she cares for Ray.
Please continue to pray for Gary Ginder who also had the second phase of the DBS surgery Tuesday. Pray for Wanda as she cares for him.
Please continue to pray for Joseph Navarro who suffered a stroke. Pray for a full recovery and God's blessings in his health.
Missionary of the Week - Johann Matties, Multiply's Regional Team Leader for Europe and Central Asia. Johann tells of a recent delivery of 123 handmade comforters from Dutch Mennonite churches that were taken, along with other relief goods, from their base in Germany to Ukraine. He writes, “I just cherish the thought, how much love and creativity were poured into the warming quilts, and how much compassion and prayer follow them into the zones of desperate Ukraine.” The van used to deliver these quilts has more than one hole from flying shrapnel hitting it during other deliveries. Pray for the courageous drivers making these deliveries. Pray for Johann as he coordinate the volunteers to help and serve the Ukrainians in their time of need. Pray for the volunteers to be able to build deeper relationships and to be able to carry the Gospel to those they are helping.
